A union turns to Jeremiah

I was pleased to read that the newest United Steelworkers local is No. 2911, a reference to Jeremiah 29:11. In Today's New International translation, the verse reads:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
