Not-so-mad scientists
I really like this Wesley Haines photo from the Cumberland Times-News, of fifth-graders doing a science project, but why is the headline "Mad Scientists"?
In what sense are these kids mad? Are they mad simply because they're doing science? Because all scientists are mad? Because science itself is mad?
